Oia (pronounced 'eea') is the most famous village of Santorini. It is known throughout the world for its quiet life and fantastic sunset, The village is situated on top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view over the volcano of Palia and Nea Kameni and the island of Thirassia. Has a small port, Ammoudi and the beach of Armenistis .
The name of Imerovigli comes from the word vigla which means view spot. The position of the village provides a clear view of the caldera .
Immerovigli has numerous chapels and churches built on the rocks overlooking the blue sea. The village is known as the ultimate romantic destination.
Fira is the capital and the most important village of Santorini. It is located at the west side of the island and is perched on the edge of an impressive cliff, at a height of 260 meters offering a great panoramic view over the submerged volcano.
The red beach is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches of Santorini. Is closely located to the ancient site of Akrotiri. The different colours of the cliffs create a unique atmosphere . Snorkeling is highly recommended.
La Ponta Akrotiri
La Ponta is located in a 13th century Venetian tower, within the castle of Akrotiri. It boasts an exquisite panoramic view of the island and is 1km above the pre-historic archaeological site of Akrotiri, Santorini. The tower hosts a tsabouna - Greek folk wind instrument of the bagpipe family - exhibition along with traditional Greek percussion and flutes. In their workshop they construct the tsabouna, various traditiona and ancient Greek flutes and the Cycladic drum doubaki. Handcrafted musical instruments, unique books, prints and rare artifacts may be acquired in their shop.

The music lessons (a combination of presentation the instruments and a historical -almost- fairy-tale show given by the owner Yiannis) is quite exceptional! You will be asked by him to accompany him in some exotic melodies, you will be sing the basso-continuo to his imrovisations and you will be a real part of Greek ancient & tradinional culture.
In the end Yiannis will serve the best greek coffee you've ever have to enjoy it in the breathtaking-view terrace of the castle.
